1. San Blas: The Bohemian Artisan Quarter & Local Market
Your private guide meets you at your hotel to begin in picturesque San Blas (known in Inca times as T'oqokachi), the oldest and most artistic neighborhood in Cusco. Perched just above the historic center, its steep cobblestone lanes, whitewashed adobe walls, and carved cobalt-blue balconies offer lovely views over the city's terracotta roofs.

2. Inca Engineering Mastery: Hatun Rumiyoc & The 12-Angled Stone
Strolling gently downhill toward the heart of the city, we walk along the original Inca street of Hatun Rumiyoc ("Street of the Great Stone"), bordered by the polygonal green-diorite walls of the former palace of Inca Roca.
Here you will stand right before the iconic Twelve-Angled Stone (Piedra de los Doce Ángulos), a six-ton block carved with twelve interlocking corners that fit into the surrounding stones without a single drop of mortar. Your guide will explain how the Incas shaped these seismic-resistant walls using river cobbles and bronze chisels, and help you spot the hidden shapes of the sacred Andean trilogy—the Puma, Snake, and Condor—embedded in the stonework.
3. The Plaza de Armas & Inside the Cusco Cathedral
