1. Sacsayhuaman: The Megalithic Inca Fortress

Although Spanish conquistadors built the Convent of Santo Domingo directly atop the temple, the underlying Inca sanctuaries of the Sun, Moon, Stars, and Rainbow survived major earthquakes completely intact. You will stand beside the iconic curved dark-andesite wall and examine interlocking trapezoidal niches that showcase the pinnacle of imperial Inca masonry.
4. Daily Life & Flavors at San Pedro Market
To conclude your cultural immersion, we head to the lively San Pedro Central Market, housed inside a landmark 1925 iron structure designed by French engineer Gustave Eiffel. This is where Cusco’s history meets its vibrant modern everyday life.
