Historic Center & Plaza de Armas
We will walk through the stunning colonial streets of Arequipa, completely surrounded by magnificent white volcanic stone (sillar) architecture. Your guide will share captivating historical insights and give you plenty of time for photos at the main square.
What you'll taste: The savory portion of our tour begins here. You will enjoy mouth-watering traditional Arequipeñan baked empanadas, followed by a local classic that is simply irresistible: Pan con Chicharrón (a crispy, slow-cooked pork sandwich).
Yanahuara Viewpoint
Next, we head up to the picturesque district of Yanahuara. Standing beneath its famous sillar arches, you will enjoy one of the most spectacular, unobstructed panoramic views of the city with the majestic Misti volcano looming in the background.
